The 17th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy

Universitas Airlangga is hosting the 17th ACCP With the theme “Unity in Diversity and the Standardisation of Clinical Pharmacy Services”, in Yogyakarta on July 27th - 30th, collaborating with IAI and University of Gadjah Mada. Together with Sanata Dharma University, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta as Co-host. The opening ceremony (July 28th) was oficially opened by Mochammad Nasih - Rector of Universitas Airlangga; Maura Linda Sitanggang, Ph.D., Apt - Directorate General of Pharmateucical and Health Devices; Drs. Nurul Falah Edy Pariang, Apt - Chairman of Indonesian Pharmacist Association; Dr. Suharjono, Apt - Chairman of 17th ACCP; Dr. Yunita Nita, M.Fam., Apt. - President Elect of ACCP; Governor of Yogyakarta, Represented by Yogyakarta's Department of Health - drg. Pembayun Setyaning Astutie, M.Kes. 

Clinical pharmacists have attended this prestigious meeting to share their experience in the fields of practice, research, and education on clinical pharmacy. Clinical-pharmacist experts from USA, Canada, Australia, and UK have continuously come and transfer their knowledge and shared advance clinical pharmacy practice experiences. This conference supports rapid knowledge and experience transfer and enhances the emerging of clinical pharmacy practice in Asia.

Indonesia hosted the 8th ACCP in Surabaya in 2008, and is hosting the 17th ACCP in Yogyakarta this year. This year will be a celebration for 20 years of ACCP. During the past 20 years, ACCP has been a major event in the clinical pharmacy scope in Asia and has been conducted in various countries especially in Asia. Clinical pharmacists have attended this prestigious meeting to share their experience in the fields of practice, research, and education on clinical pharmacy. Clinical-pharmacist experts from USA, Canada, Australia, and UK have continuously come and transfer their knowledge and shared advance clinical pharmacy practice experiences. This conference supports rapid knowledge and experience transfer and enhances the emerging of clinical pharmacy practice in Asia.
