UNAIR Exploring Collaboration with Australia

The Australian Consulate-General in Surabaya, Mr. Chris Barnes and Dr. Paul Zeccola  Visited Universitas Airlangga on 9 April 2018 for Discussing Potential Collaboration between Universitas Airlangga and Univeristies in Australia.

This meeting was led by Rector of UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Moh Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA, Dr. Muhammad Madyan, Vice Rector for Finance and Resources and Facilities,  Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, Vice Rector for Research, Publication and Community Services of Universitas Airlangga, Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Si, Executive Director Airlangga Global Engagement, Dian Ekowati, Ph.D, Executive Secretary Airlangga Global Engagement and Margaretha, S.Psi., P.G.Dip.Psych., M.Sc, Head of Global Networking and Communication Division Airlangga Global Engagement.

The Australian Consulate General informed that there were many oppurtunities for UNAIR’s students who want to study in Australia because both goverment and universities in Australia offer scholarships for them. The collaboration between UNAIR and Universities in Australia is not only in academic mobility but also in research and consortium as well.  The recent collaboration between UNAIR and Australia is the participation of UNAIR in Western Australia East Java Universities Consortium (WAEJUC) and for the implementation of this collaboration is the member of WAEJUC will send their students for mobilty program under consortium scheme. Furthemore, The Australian Consulate-General has collaborated with UNAIR to establish Ausie Banget Corner in UNAIR. Thus, it will make the relationship between UNAIR and Australia stronger.
