Prince Songkla University 2019 Thai Cultural Camp

Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand is pleased to invite students to participate in the PSU 2019 Thai Cultural Camp, which will take place from July 7-27, 2019. There will be 21 amazing days in the Land of Smiles, for a maximum of 60 participants from around the world, full of cultural discoveries: Thai cooking, Thai boxing, Thai music, Thai dance, Traditional Thai Medicine, as well as field trips and excursions to famous tourist destinations.

  • One scholarship (waive tuition fee, covering accommodation, local transportation and most of the meals) to 1 UNAIR student
  • Big discounts to other participants. Regarding the discounts for other students/ staff to join our camp, please refer to the Discounted Rates file attached herewith.

Please be informed that, participants benefit of the scholarship and discounts only if they are nominated by UNAIR. Individual applications are possible, but no discount will apply. Please be informed that the number of scholarships offered to universities is limited to 15 and the scholarship recipients will be accepted on the basis of “first-come, first-served.” 

Participants will be responsible for their own travel expenses, international health & accident insurance, some meals, and other personal expenses.


  • Undergraduate and graduate students of UNAIR;
  • Strong academic performances (cGPA >3.00);
  • Completed at least two semesters at UNAIR;
  • Highly fluent in English (TOEFL >500 or equivalent is preferable);
  • Fully commit to all aspects of the program upon nomination; and
  • Physically and emotionally capable of completing their studies.

Required Documents for Application

  • One copy of English proficiency certificate (TOEFL >500 or equivalent is preferable)
  • CV in English
  • One original copy latest academic transcript in English issued and stamped by Faculty
  • One copy of ID page of Passport (if available) with more than 1 Year validity from application
  • One copy of ID card (KTP)

  1. Students must fill in the online application form and upload documents before 31 January 2019 at 15.00 WIB
  2. AGE UNAIR will review all applications after the mentioned deadline. Please be aware that incomplete application will not be considered

What is GDP?
It is a short term programme that brings together participants from around the worlds. This distinctive programme by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) provides participants the unique experience to learn and immerse themselves in the wonders of Brunei Darussalam.

Program Period

  • GLSS: 2-29 July 2019

USD 1500 (for Unair students) including:

Brunei Darussalam Scholarship on Enhancing Professional Communication Skills for ASEAN 2019

Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and UBD-FPT Global Centre, Da Nang, Vietnam are pleased to announce that applications for the Brunei Darussalam Scholarship on Enhancing Professional Communication Skills for ASEAN 2019 are now open.

The deadline to apply is 14 January 2019 and the scholarship is open to all eligible citizens of ASEAN countries.


  • Programme 1: Professional Communications in English
    This programme helps participants improve their professional communication in English. The training focuses on specific areas of communication in English: writing e-mails, speaking in meetings and interviews; giving presentations, and networking. This programme can help participants achieve increased confidence and professional goals.
  • Programme 2: Intensive English Proficiency Course
    This programme is designed to train participants in the four core skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. Throughout the programme, participants will engage in different tasks which include practices especially in the areas of reading and vocabulary development.


  • 4 March-19 April 2019
  • 22 July-6 September 2019
  • 30 September-15 November 2019


  • Applications are open to citizens of ASEAN.
  • Applicants must be within the age range of 20 - 35 years.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum qualification of post-secondary school certificate.
  • Applicants must be certified to be medically fit to undertake the scholarship and to study in UBD-FPT Global Centre in Da Nang, Vietnam by a qualified medical practitioner who is registered with any Government Authorities prior to arrival in Da Nang, Vietnam.


  • Programme 1: Professional Communications in English
    Applicants with English proficiency level of an IELTS score at least 5.0 - 5.5 or equivalent.
  • Programme 2: Intensive English Proficiency Course
    Applicants with English proficiency level of an IELTS score at least 4.5 - 5.0 or equivalent.

In some, but not all cases, applicants may be required to sit for an English Proficiency Test (EPT) and they will be contacted by UBD-FPT Global Centre.

The Scholarship is sponsored by the Government of Brunei Darussalam and includes the following:

  • Programme Fees;
  • A return economy class airfare from an ASEAN country’s main city to Da Nang, Vietnam;
  • Per diem allowance for the whole duration of the programme;
  • Accommodation in Da Nang for the whole duration of the programme;
  • Health insurance for the whole duration of the programme.

Why Masaryk University (Muni) summer schools?

    Our summer schools are taught by enthusiastic lecturers who are experts in their fields. They love to share their knowledge with students and help them gain new perspectives.
    Central Europe is a beautiful region with spectacular landscape and rich history. Why only sit in class when you can experience everything at first hand? We take advantage of Brno’s short distance from major European cities and go on multiple field trips during the course.
  • BRNO
    A historical city with a huge student population, Brno is a unique place to live and study. It has something to offer for everyone: rich history and architecture, wide selection of restaurants, cafés and bars, modern sport facilities, a lake just outside of town... You will be surprised how quickly this charming city will become your home away from home.
    We have a small group of local students who are there for you after you finish class. They are there to help you discover Brno but they can also help you get acquainted with washing machines or public transportation. They will be your buddies to help you feel at home in Brno.

The list of programs is available at the website Below is the highlight of the programs that are the most interesting and/or allow students access with full or partial tuition waivers: 

a. World in Transition and Central European Transformation: Lessons Learnt (16 June – 7 July), field trips to Prague, Vienna and Budapest (2 nights in each place); credit value: 8 ECTS 

b. Authors’ Reading Month: Guest of Honour Romania, aka Balkan Academy (1-29 July, participation from a week to the whole month is feasible). This is a program that looks at contemporary and historical Balkan, not just through a conventional academic program, but also through meetings with living Romanian intellectuals and writers (one night a different person, i.e. 31 in total). Program is free – students have to cover only accommodation, plus small fees for individual cultural events. 

c. International Relations and Threats to Global Security (2 July – 23 July); field trips to Vienna, Budapest, Prague (2 nights in each place); credit value: 8 ECTS 

d. Central Europe – A Birthplace of Modernity (15 July – 4 August), field trips to Prague and Vienna (TBC); Full fee: TBC; credit value: 6 ECTS 

e. Summer Lab Research Internships at Masaryk University (27 May – 19 July) - combination of supervised lab work with a rich cultural program on Central Europe. Field trips to Prague, Budapest and Vienna; credit value: 15 ECTS 

f. Global Perspectives: Media, Communication, Culture (12 May – 5 June); field trips to Vienna, Budapest, Prague (2 nights in each place); credit value: 6 ECTS 

g. Business projects with PRINCE – this is a program for students (or young professionals) who wish to develop their skills and become professionally certified in project management. This program is offered in two modes – a week (3-7 June) or three weeks (3-28 June)

Konferensi Pemuda di Brazil bertajuk: Youth Ag Summit 2019 sedang membuka pendaftaran bagi pemuda yang berusia 18-25 tahun yang tertarik dalam bidang pertanian, ketahanan pangan, bencana kelaparan di dunia, pengelolaan lingkungan, bioteknologi dan peternakan.
Youth Ag Summit merupakan forum pertemuan pemimpin muda dunia untuk berkolaborasi dalam mengembangkan dan merancang solusi atas masalah ketahanan pangan dan pertanian global.
