Michigan State University Global Summer School 2018

 

The Visiting International Professional Program (VIPP) at Michigan State University is pleased to offer 5 classes for international students during the 2018 Summer term.

Students have the option of enrolling in Global Enterprise Design; Modern Packaging; Food, Water & Our Community; American Culture & Society; or Smart Transport Engineering. The class will take place at MSU’s campus in East Lansing, Michigan, from July 17th, 2018 to August 8th 2018.

Our summer program is equivalent to a 3-credit course with 45 instructional hours. The program includes lectures, group work, and educational field trips relevant to their field of study. In addition to conducting a group project, students will engage in career planning, professional development, and leadership training. At the end of the program, students will embark on a weeklong trip to either Chicago or the East Coast, including Niagara Falls, Washington DC, and New York. It will be a great opportunity for students to experience America up-close and personal.

Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Undergraduate students or Master Degree Student at UNAIR
  • Have a minimum 3,00 GPA
  • Have a minimum 500 TOEFL or 5,0 IELTS score
  • Commit to all aspects of the program
  • Be physically and emotionally capable of completing the programs both in the host university and the home university

Global Enterprise Innovation

Engage in the multidisciplinary engineering project with a focus on smart transportation technology. There will be a small group lab-based project to practice theory as well as application.

  • •Cultural field trips to Henry Ford Museum in Detroit and Lake Michigan/Sand dunes.
  • • 3 nights/4 day trip to Chicago including lodging, transportation & meals from August 4 to August 7
