This program is a non-degree program for the regular students of Nagasaki Partner University which has agreement on student exchange. As a part of an undergraduate or graduate school, students will attend lectures or receive research guidance alongside Japanese students for one semester or one academic year.

Course offered per semester and Research content list (it could be changed depend on the university policy)

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate student of UNAIR
  • Completed at least two semesters at UNAIR
  • Strong academic performance (cGPA > 3.00)
  • Highly fluent in English (TOEFL >500, IELTS >6 or equivalent is preferable)
  • Fully commit to all aspects of the program upon nomination
  • Physically and emotionally capable of completing their studies.

Program Benefits:

  • Transferable credits (please consult with Department and Faculty)
  • Tuition fee waived

However, the following are not covered in the program benefits:

  • Round trip Airfare + Airport tax
  • Dormitory Fee
  • Visa fee
  • Health Insurance
  • Immigration Fee (Alien Card)

The Faculty of Communication Arts is one of the 18 Faculties in Chulalongkorn University, located on Phayathai Road in the heart of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Founded in 1965, it was originally an independent department named the Department of Mass Communications and Public Relations. It officially became a Faculty in 1974, known publicly as the Faculty of Communication Arts. At present, the Faculty consists of over 70 full-time faculty members and over 1,000 students. Each year the Faculty has a capacity for 150 new undergraduate students and 335 new graduate students. Overtime, the Faculty has established an outstanding reputation in various communication areas such as Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, Motion Pictures and Still Photography, Speech communication and Performing Arts. It is widely recognized that the Faculty has produced numerous communication professionals working in both public and private sectors in Thailand as well as overseas.

Each scholarship recipient can choose subjects from the program curriculum at www.inter.commarts.chula.ac.th Please note that some courses might not be offered in the semester you plan to attend. The program staff will assist scholarship students for the registration after their arrival.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate student of UNAIR
  • Completed at least two semesters at UNAIR
  • Strong academic performance (cGPA > 3.00)
  • Highly fluent in English (TOEFL score: at least 90 (IBT) or higher, or IELTS score: at least 6 or higher, or CU-AAT score: at least 450 or higher (only verbal section), or SAT score: at least 450 or higher (only critical reading section)
  • Fully commit to all aspects of the program upon nomination
  • Physically and emotionally capable of completing their studies.

Scholarship
Scholarship Includes:

  • Tuition fee of 86,000 Baht
  • Living expenses 50,000 Baht
  • Air ticket Reimbursement
    *Air ticket can be reimbursed on the rate of your purchase in the receipt ,but does not exceed than 9,500 Baht

Required Documents

  • Complete application form
  • Statement of purpose attached with the application form.
  • Official transcript with latest GPA.
  • One 1-inch photograph (face shot with no hat, sunglasses, or computer editing).
  • Two letters of recommendation from lecturers or advisors.
  • ID page of Passport (if available) with more than 1 Year validity from application
  • University testimonial letter (this letter will be provided by IOP UNAIR).
  • Language requirement:
    • TOEFL score: at least 90 (IBT) or higher, or
    • IELTS score: at least 6 or higher, or
    • CU-AAT score: at least 450 or higher (only verbal section), or
    • SAT score: at least 450 or higher (only critical reading section)

* Scores must be less than 2 years old based on the date of application

** Only TOEFL and other mentioned test scores will be considered. English Proficiency testing results or certificates issued by a university will not be accepted

2017 Pusan National University Summer School

Program Duration       : Session A (June 20 – July 21, 2017)
                                  Session B (July 24 – August 10, 2017)

PNU Summer School provides international students with an enriched cultural and educational experience through participation in five-week program (Session A) or three-week program (Session B). Each session consists of academic courses covering diverse subjects taught in English, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities including field trips. Courses are graded ‘A+’ ~ ‘F.’ Students who wish to transfer credits need to obtain pre-approval from their home universities. Courses may be added to the list below or cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. Official transcripts will be issued to students who complete the program.

  • For students who are recommended by PNU’s exchange partner universities, tuition fees may be exempted under the Student Exchange Agreement. For all students, the total fee will be discounted 30% for 2017.
  • For room and board, if a student stays in hotel there may be additional charge for $100 or more.
  • The Seoul Tour is optional; an additional $400 will be charged for a two-night/three-day stay in Seoul.

The International Summer Program (ISP) at Konkuk University is a two-to-four-week-long summer program that provides a great opportunity for international students wishing to learn about Korea and experience its culture. The program is suitable for all students, but is particularly valuable to those having a general interest in Korea. Students can choose between the two 2-week sessions or participate in both sessions. We are very happy to announce that the 2017 AUN/SEED-Net Regional Conference in Civil Engineering (RCCE) will be hosted by Civil Engineering Department of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). This regional conference will be held in coincide with The third International Conference on Civil Engineering Research (ICCER). The 3rd ICCER is an annual event and it is mainly for scientists and researchers with specialties on Civil Engineering or related area. The conference will be held in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember on August 1st and 2nd, 2017.

The main theme of the conference is:
“Contribution of Civil Engineering towards Smart and Sustainable Infrastructure”

In accordance with the theme of this year, a variety of topics related to planning, design, construction, operation, management and maintenance of infrastructure are expected, especially on how to make the Infrastructures smart and sustainable. Through this conference, it is also expected that participants may perform research collaborations and define the platforms for their future research directions.
