LOTUS II

Lotus II is an Erasmus Mundus Action Two Partnership (EMA2) of European and South-East Asian Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Associations aiming at fostering mutual enrichment and better understanding between EU and South-East Asian countries through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills at higher education level. This scholarship is open to all Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral students as well as academic staff of Universitas Airlangga. Lotus II covers the living expenses, return tickets, insurance, and tuition fee.

The field of study offered in this scheme includes Agricultural Sciences, Business and Management, Engineering, Technology, Geography, Geology, Law, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. However, students from other field of study are encouraged to apply. In order to let the students receive a full benefit from this exchange program, both in terms of linguistic, culture, and education, all interested students are required to be able to use English actively, which can be proven from IELTS/TOEFL score, or other similar measurements with score that meets the requirement of hosting university. AREAS

Academic Relations between Europe and Asia (AREAS) is a project organized by EMA2 in collaboration with universities in Southeast Asia. AREAS provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and academic staff of Universitas Airlangga to study, conduct research, training, and teaching in Europe. AREAS grant will covers living expenses, return tickets, insurance, and tuition fee. The fields of study offered for this scholarship are Agriculture, Urban and Regional Planning Architecture, Business and Management, Engineering, Technology, Education, Teacher Training, Geography, Geology, Law, Medical, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. GEM

Erasmus Mundus offers scholarships known as the European Master of Science (MSc) Course in Geo-information Science and Earth Observational for Environmental Modeling and Management (GEM). GEM is awarded to Master students and this scholarship has been running for over five years. The fields of study offered include Environmental Systems, Components, and Interactions Geo-information Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modeling and Management. TECHNO

Euro-Asia partnership to promote Engineering Technology Education and Research Exchanges or TECHNO is one of the projects granted by EMA2 Europe and HEI Southeast Asia which is expected to enrich the understanding of the European Union and Southeast Asia, through the exchange of students, knowledge and skills. TECHNO provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and academic staff of Universitas Airlangga to study, conduct research, training, and teaching in Europe. TECHNO grant will covers living expenses, return tickets, insurance, and tuition fee. The fields of study offered for this scholarship are Engineering, Agriculture, Health, Life Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences. STRoNGTiES

Strengthening Training and Research through Networking and Globalisation of Teaching in Engineering Studies(STRoNGTiES) offers an opportunity for Master and Doctoral students as well as academic staff of Universitas Airlangga to study in several European institutions. This grant will cover living expenses, return tickets, insurance, and tuition fee. The fields of study offered for this scholarship are Electrical, Electronics engineering and Information and Communication Technologies, Photonics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Power systems and energy, Informatics, Communication Engineering and Microwaves. DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIPS 

Domestic partnership is the main entrance for the information regarding various cooperations. This desk is one of three desks of International Office and Partnership that is responsible to the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Development and Information Systems.

The main duty of Domestic Partnership Desk is:

  • In charge of cooperation between Universitas Airlangga and numerous domestic institutions, such as public and private institutions and Indonesian universities.
  • Undertake the administration of all cooperation within the university and the units under it
  • Coordinate and cooperate in the administrative related matters and signing implementation of the Universitas Airlangga working units
  • Develop and maintain the information systems of the partnerships
  • Filing the records and cooperation database
