Twenty students of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) are attending Asia University 2019 Summer Program in “Creativity & Entrepreneurship” hosted by the College of Management, Asia University, Taiwan.

Universitas Airlangga Strategic Meeting at Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul

 

 

 

On February 13th, 2018, UNAIR delegations are welcomed by Mr. Dandy Fikhriyanto Soeparan as acting of Consul for Social and Cultural Affairs, Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul, Turkey. UNAIR thanks the Consulate General of Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul for the hospitality and for facilitating the strategic meeting with esteemed university in Turkey.

The list of universities that attended this strategic meeting as follow:

  1. Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Turkey
  2. Instanbul Teknik Universitesi, Turkey
  3. Koc Universitesi, Turkey
  4. Kirklareli University, Turkey
 
The strategic meeting result, in general, is that there will be many international partnership programs that can be carried this year, seeing as the increasing amount of Indonesian that are studying in Turkey.
 
With this, UNAIR hopes to have further and last long collaboration with Turkish universities in the near future. 

 

 

 

Orientasi Pra-Keberangkatan Staf dan Mahasiswa Fakultas Keperawatan

 

Pada Jumat, 18 Agustus 2017 bertempat di Ruang Rapat Pimpinan I, Fakultas Keperawatan Lantai 1, Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE) bekerjasama dengan Fakultas Keperawatan mengadakan Orientasi Pra-Keberangkatan Program Pertukaran Staf dan Mahasiswa periode 2017. Acara ini dihadiri sejumlah staf dan mahasiswa yang akan mengikuti kegiatan tersebut ke beberapa tujuan, yaitu: Naresuan University (Thailand), Japan Red Cross Kyushu International College of Nursing (Jepang), University of Malaya (Malaysia), dan La Trobe University (Australia). Orientasi ini bertujuan memberikan informasi kepada peserta program terkait persiapan keberangkatan ke luar negeri. Diantaranya mengenai apa yang harus dipersiapkan dan dibawa sebelum berangkat, menjelaskan proses belajar dan mengajar selama di luar negeri, cara menghadapi perbedaan budaya, dan tentunya diharapkan para perwakilan UNAIR membawa nama baik universitas. Selain itu juga orientasi ini dimaksudkan membekali para peserta untuk mengenalkan UNAIR secara luas.

Endeavour Scholarship and Fellowship Info Session 2018

Surabaya – On Tuesday (13/2), the Department of Education and Training of the Australian Embassy held an info session for Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowship at Universitas Airlangga, Campus C Mulyorejo. The info session was attended by 60 students from both bachelor and master study programs and was open by Ms. Claudina, a representative of the Australian Embassy in Jakarta who explains the details regarding the requirements and documents needed to be prepared by students before they enroll to the scholarship.

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships was first created on 2007 and have already accepted 231 Indonesian students until 2018 to receive either the scholarship or fellowship to undertake studies, research or provisional development in Australia. The recipients are possible to receive up to a maximum AUD 140.000 in scholarship funds during their study in Australia.
One of the recipients who gave his testimony was Mr. Seto who was an Endeavour Awardee in research. In the info session, he tell stories regarding his experience during his research in Australia, as well as the alumni network that was made available afterwards.

UNAIR SATRIA Goes to Prince of Songkla University for 2017 Thai Cultural Camp

Rusydina Firdausi, a student from Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Airlangga, participated in Prince of Songkla University 2017 Thai Cultural Camp, which takes place in Hat Yai Campus, Songkla Province, Thailand, on 2 - 22 July 2017.

This Cultural Camp consists of lectures about Thai Language, Traditional Dancing, Boxing, Traditional Medicine, Cooking, Sufficiency Economy, Thai Way of Life and its Environment and also field trips. However, the delegation is not only taught about Thai, but also other cultures from the delegations who are coming from 6 Asian countries, Oman, Germany, Hungary, and USA through cultural exchange sessions during the program.
