On Wednesday (27/11/2019) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) received a delegation visit from the embassy of Republic of Poland for Indonesia, represented by H.E. Beata Stoczyńska as the ambassador and the other staffs of the embassy. UNAIR was represented by deans and vice deans of various faculties. There were also representative from Airlangga Global Engagement and Vice Rector I, Prof. dr. Djoko Santoso, Ph.D, K-GH., FINASIM. Delivered his speech at the meeting.
All of the delegates from the embassy of Republic of Poland for Indonesia and UNAIR were warmly welcomed by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. dr. Djoko Santoso, Ph.D, K-GH., FINASIM. and a welcoming speech from H.E. Beata Stoczyńska as the ambassador. The meeting was attended by several faculties from UNAIR such as Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, and Post-Graduate School. The aims of the meeting mainly was to discuss the joint research collaboration between UNAIR and universities in Poland, mainly University of Jagiellonia and University of Warsaw, and also exploring the potential collaboration activities of each faculties in Universitas Airlangga. Therefore, each representative from respective faculties delivered their aspirations upon the academic, research, and community services partnership with those universities of Poland.

The courtesy visit was closed by encouraging speech from Prof. dr. Djoko Santoso. UNAIR and all the faculties therein wish the visit and meeting could strenghten the relationship with Poland and the universities in Poland and also could build a stronger and sustainable cooperation in the future with Poland and the universities in Poland.
