“Food and Environment” has become a global concern in the context of climate change and unsustainable development. The processes and choices involved in food consumption, food production, food waste and food safety can have huge positive or negative impacts on the environment, socio-economic well-being and ultimately health and the survival of human populations. The central question is how we can best produce, consume and manage food to meet the world’s need with sustainable means.
